Reflection 5 : Curriculum design



What is curriculum design?

- Curriculum is a arrangement of curriculum elements into a substantive entity. It have four basic curriculum components that include:


1) Aim, goals and objectives

2) Subject matter

3) Learning experience

4) Evaluation

This four components is extremely important because each of the components are connect to one another. Thus, this four components are helpful and useful to me for doing our group assignments. From this way, i understand more of the meaning of each components.

Every curriculum designers must clarify their philosophical, social, and political views of society and the individual learner— this views commonly called curriculum's sources. Each curriculum designer have to clarify own views.

The five curriculum sources:
1) Science

2) Society

3) External and devine

4) Knowledge

5) Learner
